Meeting of the Finest(Five Points)

[Ryder]

It was set, he sat on his couch, his feet propped on the table, beer in hand. He sighed and pushed his fadora over his eyes as he whistled and brought his beer to his lips. He glanced under the brim of his fedora and then got abit impatient and grabbed his fedora off his head and threw it across the room,"Blade get out hereh and get some beers outta da fridge fer meh will ya we gots guests comin don't ya know?"

[/i] he growled as he looked up toward the door when he heard the knob jiggle and his eyes fell upon the first arrival, Love. He gave a slight cocky grin as he watched her step inside and she strutted over to the fridge flawlessly and bent down reaching in and grabbing herself a beer,"Throwing things and gettin impatient isn't like you Ryder... need a dose of Love?" she taunted softly as she walked over and sat down on the arm of the couch and ran a hand through his hair.

Ryder scowled abit and gently pulled away from her hand,"Hands off da merchandise I's on lay away sweetheart," he told her sternly watching her eyes grow in slight confusion. "Lay away? Since when... yeah alright Ry lemme know how long dat lasts... seein as yer job and all, not many lasses agree to what you do,"she mused as she ran a hand through her own hair and glanced toward the door, she'd let the silence linger until their next guests would arrive.[/center]

[Dodger]

Dodger rolled out of bed, he'd been sufferring a massive hangover all day so he was just waking up when he heard Shadow banging on his door telling him he better be getting ready for the meeting. He cursed a stream of words under his breath before he pulled on his black slacks and didn't even bother putting on a shirt as he ruffled his hair, glanced in the mirror and scowled abit. He made sure his switchblade was in the pocket of his slacks as he slid on his black dress shoes and made his way down the hall, he gave a bang on Jade's door just for the hell of it before he walked into Ryder's apartment not even looking up as he went straight to the fridge and grabbed the bottle of whiskey amongst the beer bottles. He leaned his back against the kitchen counter as he now glanced over to the two seated on the couch. Love, boy did that girl have a way of getting under his skin on numerous levels. He scowled again as he took a long swig of his whiskey and looked between the two,"What crawled up his ass and died?" he asked gesturing to Ryder. Love giggled abit and looked at Dodger, who offerred her a mischievous smirk. "Some lay away girl or somethin... whateveh it is I'm sure we'll find out at some point, or I can always corner Shadow and ask him about it," she mused catching Ryder's glare from the side of her eyes.

Dodger rolled his eyes and made his way over to them, sitting in the armchair before he patted his lap and raised his eyebrow at Love. She shrugged and slid down into his lap, he figured it was because she had ticked off Ryder, so she would suffice with Dodger being her protector in the line of fire. He smirked as he took another big swig and watched as Shadow strolled into the room.

[Shadow]

Shadow had been doing his job even before this meeting was set. He couldn't help but think back to two nights ago though with what happened between him and Blade. He pushed it to the back of his mind as he banged on Dodger's door and then went back to his apartment to slip on his shoes and fix his hair in the front. He walked into Ryder's not surprised to see Dodger with Love in his lap, of course the girl was quite the flirt, but didn't Dodger know she was a hard girl to get at, even Ryder had a hard time just getting a kiss from the girl when they first were flirtatious with one another. He walked to the fridge and grabbed a beer and looked around for a moment finding a bag of cookies on the counter. He grinned and grabbed the cookie bag before taking a seat on the floor cross legged and opening his beer.

He always found the floor to be a good spot for him as he took a cookie and began munching on it,"Where's Blade?" he asked wondering if Ryder would question him about asking that.

[Blade]

The pounding head ache of a good night. Blade listened to Ryder throw stuff around as he knew the leader was always impatient. Blade giggled to himself as he listened as Love talked to him Blade giggled to himself as he laid on his stomach. Ryder was mumbling something about Hope in his sleep it made sense to Blade cause Blade always knew of what Ryder was doing for the most part they lived together. Blade rolled out of bed walking to the mirror looking at his eye it looked worst today lucky Shadow didn't see it like this two nights ago, he wouldn't have thought Blade was attractive. Blade walked to his closet and looked in it grabbing a pair of pants and a button down shirt as he walked to the mirror getting dressed equipping his outfit with matching cuflinks. He ran his fingers through his hair as he strolled out to the living room seeing Love on Dodger's lap Ryder on the couch and Shadow on the floor. Blade dare not think of anything to do with him right now as he smiled. "Party's heah." Introducing himself as he walked to the kitchen grabbing two beers popping the tops off and walking over giving one to Ryder as he found his way to his seat. Looking at his gold watch wondering where Jade was.

[Jade]

Jade was in was in the tub singing to herself as she shaved her legs and listened to the countless amounts of knocks on her door "I's ain't deaf I's can hea you's fools." She shouted as she hurried now getting out drying herself off walking to the sink where she looked in the mirror and brushed her hair putting a barrette in watching her long black curly locks fall into place so perfect. She walked to her room and looked for an outfit pulling out a lacy little black dress as she found matching black high heels putting them on with her thigh high stalkings with the little lace bows at the top. He ran over to the mirror throwing on a layer of red lipstick smoothing it to her lips as she smiled and puckered.

"Goil you bad." She said to herself walking her heels clicking on the hard wood floors as she made her way to the kitchen going in her fridge pulling out two big bottles of vodka. She made her way down the hall knocking and then walked in. "Miss me Ry?" She smiled at Ryder as she walked over to the kitchen grabbing a glass pouring herself a cup of Vodka as she left the bottles on the counter. She walked back to the living room walking past Dodger ignoring him and love completely. She gave Blade a hug and she walked over to Shadow running her fingers through his hair as she took a seat near him crossing her legs now attentive.

[Ryder]

Ryder looked up when Jade walked in and he looked around the room, everyone so far was here, unless anyone he hadn't seen in quite some time would decide to show up. He took the beer from Blade and looked at Jade for a moment,"Yeah I missed ya's but dat ain't why we're hereh alright?" he said shooting Dodger a glare and Love a shake of his head. Love just chuckled softly to herself and whispered into Dodger's ear, Dodger smirked and looked over at Ryder in an amused manner. Ryder scowled and tossed his empty beer bottle at Dodger who reflexively caught it and set it on the floor beside him,'Did ya call this meetin ta harrass and mame us or ta tell us something damnit?" Dodger snapped as Love played with his hair trying to calm him down.

Ryder took a long swig of his beer before he looked between them all,"Listen hereh, I say whateveh I wanna say when I'm readeh Dodger and you watch yer little lips over there Love, Now I called dis meetin fer a purpose," he stood up and walked over to Blade and he grabbed the boy by the arm lifting him from his seat and gently pushing him in the middle of the group, on the floor,"Ya see his face? I'm done wit dese damn newsies thinkin they can do that without repercussion, they've messed with the wrong people this time, we're gonna make em pay got me?" he said his words serious and harsh.

[Shadow]

When Ryder had effortlessly flung Blade onto the floor on his knees right infront of him, Shadow's eyes grew abit wide in anger but he couldn't show it. He looked at Ryder,"What do ya want us ta do huh? deres how many of dem against the 6 of us? Its suicide," he said as he reached over and got on his knees and grabbed Blade by the shoulder, sitting him down beside him before he let go of the boy so Ryder wouldn't question his act of kindness too much. Shadow scowled abit and looked up when Love piped up as usual,"I think I know where yer headed with dis Ry and I gotchu on da inside of things," she said with a devilish smirk. Dodger eyed Blade then looked to Ryder,"Yer kiddin meh right? What did da boy do, get in a fight wit one of da Brooklyn goils? C'mon I mean I'm all fer gettin my hands dirty, but whats in it fer us?" he asked cocky.

Ryder glared at Dodger and knew he would be the one to ask how it benefitted them,"Money... a grand per kill, two hundred per bait catch, get my drift?" he growled. Shadow looked down, this didn't feel so right, but he knew he had no other choice but to cooperate.

[Blade]

Blade sipped his beer as his hangover finally started to lift...lift him off his feet and then BOOM to the floor as he looked around then up at Ryder. Blade felt Shadow pull him near him as he calmed down looking at the spilled beer. "That Alcohol abuse!" Blade said as he was a little tense now and Dodger spoke he could feel himself get angry as he ground his teeth together and started to get up. "A goil? I's didn't get my ass whipped by no goil you dick I's show you." He spoke angerily. Blade felt Jade's hand holding his shoulder. As he tried he tried to get to his feet. He finally did, bushing himself off looking down to Shadow. "Thanks." He said as he walked to the fridge getting another beer. He hesitated till he walked back into the room he didn't want to hear Dodger's trap as he listened to Ryder, money thats all Blade ever did what was the difference

[Jade]

Jade put her hand on Blade's shoulder and watched as Shadow spoke then shifted her eyes to Dodger and scowled. Men always in it for money she thought to herself. The sound of Ryder's offer seemed directed to Dodger directly, she didn't see how she could help in the matter. Shadow would spy, Dodger would hurt, Love was their inside, Ryder came up with the plan, Blade was the reason..."Ryder what do I's do lore the stupid boys with my looks, dazzle them with my whits?" She crossed her arms and tapped her foot on the ground. That was most likely what he was going to say she got her own answer with a question he let out a sigh as she smiled her eyes shifting to Shadow then back to Ryder as she twirled her hair and thought to herself that it wasn't right. Shadow made sense why couldn't they handle it with whomever messed with Blade personally?

[Ryder]

Ryder watched as Dodger's grin crossed his lips and Lovestood up going to get another beer from the fridge. He looked over to Jade,"You... well you will lure when the time comes but fer now I know my first target and I know it'll shake em up jus' enough for the leadehs to hafta join togetheh and figure out whats going on..." he mused as he thought, he had been tracking down their first target all day today, where she eats, where she mingles, everything. He smirked and sat back down in his spot and reached out his hand to Jade taking her hand and gently pulling the girl into his lap. He simply wanted to hold her for a moment while he discussed the rest of his plans with the ones who would carry out the first part of the job.

Dodger looked up and before he could speak, Shadow piped in,"Ya know I heard Jack Kelly's back in town..." he brought to Ryder's attention, perfect. That was exactly the information Ryder liked to hear,"Good cause our first target is his lass Ace, if anyone gettin hurt will scare em its dat goil.... she's got a mouth on her and a pair of iron fists, so if Dodger roughs her up enough, they'll be scared,"he mused. He thought for a moment about Hope and then gently nudged Jade off of his lap,"And nobody touches the Hope Co-leader girl or any of da Bronx newsies fer now ya got meh?" he demanded, getting a half nod from Dodger and a smirk from Love.

[Jade]

A smiled crossed her red lips as Ryder was already thinking ahead she liked someone that possessed a plan and always had a few steps that followed she found herself in Ryder's lap as she crossed her leg over the other and played with his hair bringing her cup of vodka to his lips letting him take a sip as she took a sip herself and hugged him into her chest running her fingers through his hair as she listened to Shadow talk she looked down she knew Ryder was tense and he need some love so she'd give it to her leader but not too much to make herself look bad in front of Shadow. After all she did sit on laps, and cater to men's egos for a living she became quite good at it.

When Ryder talked about Hope she knew who the girl was. Jade had been a the Christmas party for a brief moment and she loved when a girl gave Ryder a challenge. Cute, real cute Ry. Jade whispered into his ear with a smile as he played with his neck absent mindedly.

[Hope]

After a night with Ryder she figured it would be best if she herself went to visit him, she grew feelings for the boy what could she say the date went well and she didn't want him to disappear for two more weeks. She thought since he gave her his address he'd want to see her more often as she traveled from the Bronx to Manhattan she smiled. Her hair was actually done neatly with a small bow to one side, her small violet dress and heels went together nicely. She looked around and finally found the building Point Place. This was it she walked up the stoop and looked at the door that been held open by a stack of papers. She giggled to herself as she looked around at the man that was smoking outside.

Hope looked into the glass as she put on some pink lipstick and opened the door walking up the stairs she looked at the apartment numbers that ranged from 32, 33, 34, 35. She took in a breath and knocked waiting for someone hopefully Ryder to answer the door as she waited she took off her scarf and tucked it into her pocket knocking again. "Hello?" Hope questioned listening to the door a little.

[Love]

Ryder heard the knock on the door and the voice on the other side and his eyes shot up but Love was quicker than him, she was at the door in a moments time opening it just barely and leaning so the girl on the other side couldn't see in,"Oh hello, you must be lay away girl... I'm so sorreh Ryder's..." Ryder cut her off and lifted her up from her waist and moved her out of his way as he now leaned in the doorway,"Right hereh... Hope you alright? Missin meh already?" he asked with a smile to her, he could hear Love cursing behind him,"Yer a playeh Ry it ain't gonna change... she don't know da real you," Love hissed under her breath and Ryder kicked his foot backward abit catching her in the ankle hearing her squeak and limp off to Dodger.

He focused his eyes on Hope and sighed a bit ruffling his hair,"I wish ya had come on a betteh time, I's mean I'm havin a famileh get tagedda, but I mean, ya can come in if ya like..." he offerred, saying the family part loud enough so everyone inside would know to play along. He opened the door all the way and gestured for her to come inside.

Shadow chuckled and then got up from his spot on the floor and sat down beside Jade as he leaned against her and rested his head on her shoulder in the cutest manner,"Ya's can love on meh Jade...I'm lovable," he said with a smile.

[Jade]

Blade was sitting there he had gotten up getting into the vodka Jade had left on the counter he walked away sitting in the corner with the bottle taking shot after shot. He smiled to himself watching as Ryder and Love raced for the door he placed bets in his head and giggled at the winner of the race as he hiccuped getting up walking over to Hope "Hope, wher..wheah is Cutsie she re..remember my na..name I's told her she should she'd want to.." Blade was drunk rambling as Jade got up walking over to him pulling him by his ear to the chair pushing him down into it "Best behavior!" She said as she rubbed his head she had a soft spot for Blade he was the baby of the family after all as she walked back over to the couch sitting down.

Jade watched as Shadow got up and and sat beside him when he put his head on her shoulder she smiled and played with his hair putting her arm around him and his head on her chest kissing the top of his head rubbing his back lovingly. "Let meh find out ya lovable Shadow." She offered a cute smile as she spoke.

[Hope]

Ryder offered her in the girl that answered seemed to prove Hope right Ryder did miss her too even though when he spoke he was a little cocky. She laughed it off. Her ears heard the word player but she let it go she'd find out from Ryder alone she didn't like to go off others judgments after all that girl wasn't there on the date and Ryder didn't get laid either time so therefore he wasn't a player, Players wanted something from the girl Hope agreed with herself as she walked in. She still didn't understand the lay away quote she'd ask Ryder later as she strolled in casually she got on her tippy toes and hugged Ryder. "Of course I's missed you's my Ry Ry." She pet named him as she giggled kissing his cheek.

She watched as the short boy came over and then recognized him as Blade. He spoke drunkenly but his words were so muffled it was hard to read.. "What darlin?" She questioned as the fancy Asian girl took him away. Hope looked at Ryder and sighed. "What to get me a drink and explain lay away girl?" Hope nodded and gestured for him to get her a drink as she looked around letting out a breath. "Sup Fellahs?" She asked getting comfortable if she looked scared or wasn't relax this might not go so well.
