Her eyes drifted along the waters as she sat upon her perch high up. Her back against a beam, one leg bent up to her chest, the other dangling off of the beam she sat on. She could hear the seagulls in the distance, the calls of newsies across the cities, the laughter of the boys jumping off the docks and into the waters. Dove was observant in ways not many could ever comprehend and she had indeed been keeping an eye on all of Spot's newsies these days. She hummed softly, wondering where her boidies were on this fine day, hopefully they were out collecting any information, any gossip, any news they could scrounge up.
Looking down below her Dove saw newsies passing by, she wondered if anyone had problems lately, anything she could be of assistance with... she wondered where Spot was at this very moment, but she knew he would return by the end of the night. She bit her bottom lip as she extracted her slingshot from her pocket and aimed her marble at the line of bottles she had set up across the beams. She pulled back as she let go and watched the bottle fall down, shattering. Nothing to do, nowhere to go at the moment, she would sit...and wait until something came along that was worth being nosie about.

It had been a long day, one of those days that just never seems to end and she was barely halfway through it. Luckily, she didn't have to worry about selling the afternoon addition because she'd made a bit of money in poker and had finished with the morning addition already. Fighter pulled out a cigarette and lit it before taking a deep drag as she walked along the docks. They were fairly busy this time of day with the dock workers moving about and others coming here to find a bit of solace.
She continued walking until she came across a less crowded area where she leaned against a crate and took another drag of her cigarette. It had been awhile since she'd seen Aidan, but he knew she was back in the city and apparently he wasn't as ready to move on as she was. She'd caught sight of him twice today and knew he must be following her, but she wasn't going to let him scare her off again. She'd missed Brooklyn too much when she'd gone to Philadelphia after leaving him. Now that she was back, she planned on staying.

Dove looked down hearing footsteps and a small smirk played across her lips when she saw Fighter. She hopped down from her perch and approached the girl as she tilted her head looking her up and down briefly before speaking. "Well hey there Fighter, what you's been up ta today?" she asked, Dove wasn't normally one to start conversation but she was bored enough and well she had nothing better to do at the moment. She knew that Fighter had been hiding from some friend of hers or something since she had come back to Brooklyn and Dove's curiousity was boiling to know more. She folded her arms over her chest as she lit a cigarette and took a long drag before pacing abit infront of Fighter.
"Ya seem kinda stressed, wanna talk bout it?" Dove ensued hoping the girl would spill, in Brooklyn it was not easy to hide much of anything so Brooklynites knew it was best to keep things in the open rather than to get in trouble for it later. She stopped her pacing and stood infront of Fighter now and tapped her foot abit against the dock as she tapped the ash off her cigarette and gave Fighter a slight smile, it was simply harmless....for now.
