Personality: Being leader of the Birds isn't an easy position to obtain,it takes spunk,wit,smarts.Dove has been tough since she was very young,being thrown around in Brooklyn made her become quite the dare devil. She is outgoing,free spirited and loud when she wants to be. She has her caring and loving side but it is reserved for certain individuals or certain situations. She maintains a calm and collected appearance and state when situations become chaos,but if things become to chaotic,she will admit to Spot that she needs help. She loves to boss her little birdies around,but mainly it is all playful,she would never harm her birds. She is skillful in her ways,sly and mysterious,and quite a tough cookie to crack.

History: Cadence was born and raised in Norway until she was about 7 years old when her father transferred her and her mother to New York, he was unable to see his family go through such hardships with them being so poor, he figured thier was a better lifestyle out there somewhere,in America. Norway the country of Blond haired Blue eyed children, green meadows, overflowing hills.....coming to America, Cadence missed home very much. Her mother grew sick when Cadence was 10,not long after arriving in America, she figured her mother was ill from the travel but soon her mother died. Cadence was forced into an Orphanage where many of the kids spoke of places away from the beatings of the caretaker, these places referred to as newsie boroughs. Being in Brooklyn when her mother passed,and thrown into the orphanage not far from, Cadence knew that Brooklyn was a district of Irish children.
She ran from the orphanage a year later, seeking refuge at the Brooklyn newsies Lodging home. After much arguement with the leader that she indeed was part Irish,not that it was a requirement, but it was a plus....a black eye and a few thrown punches later, Cadence was welcomed in as a Brook. She met the soon to be leader,Spot Conlon and her and Spot became quite close even though neither one of them would fully admit that they could possibly be nice to another human being. Dove was seen to the leader as a girl with potential and soon enough she was taught every rope,every trick and crowned Leader of the Birdies, to work beside Spot Conlon as the new leader, this title given to her at age 14. She takes her title and job very seriously and she is not afraid to prove that this is where she belongs,no matter what the circumstances.
